At GoodSource Solutions, we work hard to provide the best customer service to satisfy our customers’ needs. An essential part of this process involves maintaining product integrity as it relates to cross-contamination, inventory accuracy, and consistent temperature monitoring of the products we deliver. With these cautions in place, we have a strict policy when it comes to rejected product:
- Inspection at the time of delivery is the best way to avoid issues. All products delivered from our trucks should be counted accurately, checked for conformity, and pack dates should be inspected. If any of the products are found to be unacceptable at the time of delivery, please contact your GoodSource representative for disposition. To ensure customer satisfaction, it is important that the driver and customer participate in the check-in process at delivery. It is vital to verify all products have been received in good order and anticipated quantities match the Bill of Lading (BOL). Any discrepancies must be noted prior to signing the BOL and countersigned by the driver.
- Requests to return items from a previous delivery require approval from our customer service department and must be reported within 24 hours of the time of delivery. We can only consider a pickup and credit for non-perishable Disposition of the product will be determined at the time of request.
- If a quality issue is identified, please report within 24 hours of receipt, and provide the below information:
- Site Name
- Invoice number and date
- Item number, description, and quantity
- Product date or code number on package/bag/case
- Please include product photos, case/manufacturer label, GoodSource label
- Credit is not automatically provided after receiving the above information.
- GoodSource will review the information and determine next steps.
- Do not dispose of product until directed to do so by your GoodSource representative.
- GoodSource Solutions will not accept cases back that have been opened or altered in any way by the customer. This policy includes all cases that have been marked or written on. Products left out of our temperature control for any period cannot be returned for resale.
